Exploring Emotions Through Art - A 3-Week Art Series | Victoria, BC
About this Event
Dates: Wednesday August 5, 12, & 19 from 11am to 12:30pm ($150 for all dates)
Sometimes the best way to figure out how you're feeling is to stop thinking about it and start making something. This 3-week psychoeducational series, held in-studio in downtown Victoria, uses guided art-making to help you learn about your emotional world — through creativity, reflection, and fun.
Each Wednesday we'll explore a different theme using a range of materials and structured art activities. You'll leave each session with new insight into your inner life and something tangible you made with your hands.
This is a learning experience, not a therapy group. Think of it as emotional literacy through art. No art background required, and no pressure to produce anything polished.
The group is small by design, so there's room to go at your own pace and feel supported. This series is a good fit for Victoria locals looking to:
- Build a better understanding of your own emotions
- Find a creative outlet that works for you
- Learn practical tools for stress, transition, and self-care
This workshop series is lead by Hanna Verhagen, professional art therpist and counsellor (RCC & CCC).Curious what others have to say about this workshop?
