Experience the El Camino Trail with Genesee Land Trust and Liz Daugherty, the Land Trust’s Community Trail and Park Steward, for an engaging walk along the El Camino Trail. Learn about Liz’s work stewarding the trail and Conkey Corner Park while enjoying the trail. Along the way, Liz will share nature fun facts, the rich history of both the trail and the neighborhood, and the beautiful murals located behind the recreation center. This is a great opportunity to connect with the Land Trust, learn about local stewardships efforts, and experience the trail with a guide.
The walk will start in Conkey Corner Park and will then venture to the El Camino Trail. The walk will continue down the trail until the group reaches Norton Street before turning around and following the path back to the park. The walk will be about 1.5 and will take anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour.
