Anyone interested in learning to field dress and butcher a white-tailed deer is encouraged to attend a free informational class on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The workshop will be held at the Fitchville Conservation League located at 2623 Jennings Road, New London, Ohio 44851. The workshop is free of charge, but preregistration is required by each individual wishing to attend.
Personnel from the Ohio Division of Wildlife and Fitchville Conservation League will partner to cover topics including field dressing, skinning, and processing. This class will allow for up close demonstrations and portions will be held outdoors. Participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the workshop and for the weather.
