This class is open to participants over the age of 12 who are interested in learning the basics of archery. This free class is provided by the Ohio Division of Wildlife on May 27, 2026 from 6 pm to 8 pm.Instructors will cover topics including proper stance, archery techniques, and target practice. This class will cover the basics of shooting with a Genesis bow and discuss equipment options for bow hunting. All equipment will be provided, including both right-handed and left-handed bows. Participants are asked not to bring outside equipment.
Attendees should meet at the Wildlife District Two Office for the classroom portion followed by shooting outdoors. If the weather is unfavorable, a range will be set up indoors so the class will take place rain or shine. If you have any questions, please contact Jaron at [email protected]
