About this Event

Join members and supporters of the Environmental Justice Initiative of First Unitarian Church of Pittsburgh in a conversation with award-winning filmmaker, photographer and activist Mark Dixon in a hybrid event. Mark will be sharing insights about living well in a region with notoriously poor air quality. Mark began to work on air quality issues in 2016 via his documentary (still in production) entitled, “Inversion: The Unfinished Business of Pittsburgh’s Air,” and in 2017 was named a Champion for Healthy Air by the Group Against Smog and Pollution (GASP). From low-cost monitors to filtration to forecasting poor air days, his stories have something for everyone!

This hybrid event is free and open to all. Upon registration for the online event, you will be emailed a link to attend the virtual event.
