Douglas Leong, founder & Director of Radiance60

Unreal Engine, once the domain of games, is now shaping the future of film, television, animation, live events, and even industrial applications.
This presentation explores how real-time production with Unreal Engine is changing the game – from concept to creation, at an unprecedented speed and scale.
Douglas is the founder and Director of Radiance60 (Unreal Authorized Training Center) based in Singapore, serves as an Unreal Authorized Instructor partner for Epic Games. He is Gold Unreal Authorized Instructor partner for Epic Games.
A respected regional speaker and trainer, Douglas brings his expertise to Asian events like 100X (Seoul 2023), SiggraphAsia, and Unreal Educator Summit (2022). He's also trained and spoken at events for organizations like Brunei Economic Development Board's iCentre and CRAFT Centre. Additionally, he addressed over 2,000 at the United Architects of the Philippines National Convention (NATCON49), keynoted at Our Lady of Fatima University (2024), and trained a top-10 game company's China studio. He led a Train The Trainer program for 3dsense Media School, a globally recognized institution.
Seng Choon Meng and Wong Chi Kong, founders, CEO & COO of Scrawl Animation.
The founders of Scrawl Animation, with more than 40-years combined experience in animation, share their experience adopting an Unreal pipeline for the studio's long-form series, including 4 seasons of Giganto Club and a new 26-episode 2D-CGI project, Alex Player. With Cyber Group Studios, its strategic partner in France, Scrawl Animation has built a global Unreal pipeline between Singapore and Europe, leveraging the game engine and motion capture to produce a slate of animation long-form series for international broadcasters.
Choon Meng is a seasoned animation producer who launched the first original animated television property from Singapore in the North American market, heading the product development team that produced the series. Heading business development at Scrawl Studios, Choon Meng raised S$11mil project financing for 7 international productions that are sold to more than 30 countries worldwide, including to global networks like Disney, Turner, and Sony Viacom.
He has won numerous awards globally and his executive producing and producing credits on include X-Hunters (commissioned by MediaCorp and iMDA); Best Furry Friends Season 1 and Season 2 (airing on Cartoon Network) as well as Lil Wild Season 1 - 3 (airing on MediaCorp MeWatch)
As an experienced practitioner in the local animation industry, Choon Meng has been contributing to the educational sector by serving on Nanyang Polytechnic’s School of Interactive and Digital Media Industry (now the School of Design and Media) advisory committee since 2011.Chi Kong is co-founder of Scrawl Studios, which has garnered numerous awards internationally
Chi Kong is a graduate of Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT), earned a Bachelor of Arts (Media Studies) degree, specialising in Cinema Studies and TV Production.
He has, over the years, produced a wide variety of programmes ranging from corporate videos to infotainment programmes for broadcast. When schedules are tight, Chi Kong has no qualms to roll up his sleeves and chip in for script writing, storyboarding, video shooting and editing. Chi Kong is co-founder of Scrawl Studios, which has garnered numerous awards internationally
