Explore with a Flight Instructor is a hands-on, small-group hangar experience for those ready to take the next step into flight training.

During this event, registrants will be split into small groups and paired with a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) based on their training goals.

With your instructor, you’ll tour the hangar, get up-close with training aircraft, and try out flight simulators while exploring how students build skill and confidence throughout training.

After you register, our team will call to confirm your attendance and help ensure you’re matched with the best group for your goals.

The Academy trains for 6 certifications and ratings, professional development, immersive Atlas experience, as well as Certified Flight Instructor and high-performance aircraft time building.

Throughout the journey, cadets will get to know Atlas Air's dynamic and global culture, both in-person and through an exclusive online community. The Atlas Cadet Academy is in West Chicago at DuPage Airport (KDPA). Part 141 training is provided by Illinois Aviation Academy.
