Get ready to dive deep into your inner world through movement and self-expression in this unique Dance Movement Therapy Workshop!
This holiday season join us for a uniquely transformative healing fun and therapeutic Dance Movement Therapy Workshop in Singapore!
This workshop is inspired by the themes of exploring the unseen self and connecting with our shadow parts. Through movement and guided reflection you will discover gentle and intuitive ways to connect with your inner world and access the parts of yourself that often remain unexpressed or overlooked. The idea of the shadow self is drawn from the work of Carl Jung and will be introduced in an accessible and nurturing way.
The session is designed to help you connect with your body emotions and inner self through movement and music. You do not need any dance experience. Simply come with openness and curiosity. Expect a joyful grounding and expressive experience.
You will also take part in interactive group activities that support connection and community.
The American Dance Therapy Association defines dance/movement therapy as the psycho-therapeutic use of movement to further the emotional cognitive physical and social integration of the individual.
This workshop embraces a holistic approach and supports your physical mental and emotional wellbeing.
It will be a fun engaging and effective experience and a wonderful opportunity to meet others through movement.
What you will learn?
- A purposefully structured Explore Your Shadow sequence that supports deeper awareness of the parts of you that remain unexpressed or unexamined.
- Body awareness practices and grounding techniques
- Curated group activities to ease hesitation support expression & connection through dance & movement and build confidence.
After the workshop you will receive a PDF with notes and techniques so you can continue practicing at home.

About the facilitator
Manasi is a Physiotherapist (IN) Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (AUS) & Certified Dance Movement Psychotherapist. (UK)
She is the founder of Rejoice In Motion & has been conducting Dance Movement Therapy Workshops & sessions in Singapore (& online) for over 6 years. She also has prior experience working in professional physiotherapy settings.
For her work in the area of Dance Movement Therapy in Singapore & beyond she has been awarded the ‘Outstanding Therapist Award’ (Runner up) by the Centre Of Excellence (UK) which is a huge international body and is recognized worldwide as one of the leading online training providers with more than half a million community of learners having gained vital skills & qualifications.
