Discover what the tech world is really like in this exciting full-day experience, created for 18–30-year-olds who are not currently in education, employment, or training. If you’re curious about tech but unsure where to start, this day is designed to give you direction, confidence, and clarity.

You’ll spend the day inside a real tech organisation, supported by employees who volunteer their time to share their journeys, skills, and honest insights. Their mission? To help you explore your interests, understand the variety of roles available, and see what’s possible for your future.

This session highlights the variety of paths you can take, the challenges you might face, and the opportunities that await. It’s a chance to see how diverse experiences and backgrounds can lead to rewarding careers in technology.

Info: Discover how teams collaborate in a modern tech environment. We’ll explore agile ways of working, how decisions are made, and how teams organise themselves to work efficiently. You’ll gain insight into the culture, communication styles, and teamwork that help tech companies thrive.

Info: Get hands-on and experience teamwork in action! In this fun, interactive activity, you’ll complete a LEGO challenge in teams, trying out two approaches: one with a single leader, and one using collaborative decision-making. This session is all about communication, creativity, and agile principles in a playful, practical way.

Info: Take charge of your tech journey! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore different career paths, learn how to build a standout CV, and discover your transferable skills. If you want extra practice, you can try optional mock interviews or one-to-one coaching. We’ll also cover networking, building your online presence (like LinkedIn or GitHub), and how to showcase your personal projects. You get to choose what to focus on, while our facilitators provide guidance, tips, and feedback tailored to you.
