Attendees of this class will explore various aspects of the language, culture, food, and wines of the region of Puglia in Italy with Dr. Paola Basile, native of Italy and Professor of Italian Studies at Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio.The first part of the class will be a presentation on and discussion about the region's culture and language. During the second part of class, attendees will have the opportunity to taste regional wines and sample regional cuisine.
