Step into the serene and inspiring world of cyanotype printing at the beautiful Grange in Rottingdean!
I'm Daniela Sbrisny of Blueschein Printshed, and I'm thrilled to be running a series of engaging cyanotype printing workshops again at The Grange, the wonderful museum and gallery nestled within a lovely historic village. The Grange, with its charming early Georgian architecture and stunning, award-winning gardens – famously influenced by Gertrude Jekyll and Edwin Lutyens – provides the perfect backdrop for a mindful and creative escape.

Discover the magic of cyanotype, the historic photographic process invented by Sir John Herschel in 1842 and celebrated by pioneering botanist and photographer Anna Atkins. We'll use the power of the sun and have available a few beautiful leafs from the Grange's exquisite gardens to create our very own captivating Prussian blue prints.
This is a chance to slow down, connect with nature, explore its intricate details and transform natural elements into lasting artworks.
Whether you're an experienced artist or curious to try something new, these workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn a fascinating skill in an idyllic setting. We will immerse ourselves into the tranquillity of the Grange's beautiful surroundings, meet new people, and you will leave with a unique piece of art that you created, which you can display at home or give as a present to a loved one.
