Explore & Learn on Rimrose! Forest School

'Explore & Learn on Rimrose' is a series of events aimed at getting people of all ages from South Sefton into the great outdoors and learning a new skill.

This is a really exciting opportunity to enjoy FREE Forest School activities in the glorious setting of Rimrose Valley, funded by Tesco's 'Stronger Starts' programme.

Each session is being led by the team at My Outdoor Classroom who have been delivering Forest School events to children on the park for several years.

These sessions are for those aged 5 to 11.

Each Forest School session in the woodland of Rimrose Valley will include:

• Child-led free play in nature
• Den building and various games
• Hammocks, swings and climbing trees
• Forest school earth arts & natural crafts
• Camp fire smores
• Nature connection and education

Please dress in closed toe shoes and long trousers and long sleeves- bring your own packed lunch, water, sunscreen if necessary, and a hat... or possibly waterproofs!

Places are limited to 14 people per session, so please book your ticket ASAP to avoid disappointment.

Bookings are limited to a max of 2 tickets per person so as many people as possible can take part.

Meet at the Eden Drive South entrance before being taken to the location by those leading the session on the day.

Even though these sessions are free to attend, there is obviously a cost to put them on. If you are no longer able to make it, please cancel your place(s) to allow others to attend.

Please come on foot, bike or public transport wherever possible. If you have to come by car, parking is limited at this entrance which is in a residential area, so please park respectfully.
