Explore and Create - Stained Glass Mosaic or Collage

About the Class

Looking for a different kind of event - one that’s fun, creative, and leaves you feeling more connected to yourself and the world around you? Join us to explore an afternoon of imagination and entertainment.

Based on the book Explore Your World by Richard Bohm, you’ll use simple prompts to create your own self-expressive work of art using color, shape, and line.

Choose from two options:

· Collage – create a personalized collage using magazine images and other interesting materials. Bring items of meaning to you to make it special, such as copies of photos or letters, ticket stubs, programs, your favorite magazines, etc.

· Stained Glass Mosaic - You’ll design and create a 6” x 6” mosaic project to hang using authentic stained glass pieces glued to an art board base.

We'll provide all the materials and expert instruction. No artistic experience is needed. There is no right or wrong way—this is about honest expression, not perfection.

To complete the experience, step into the Rage Room—write your worries, troubles or stresses on dishware and then release them as the china shatters.

The Fine Print:

• Closed toe shoes required. Long pants preferred for smashing activities.

• Participants sign a Personal Injury Waiver and an Intellectual Property Waiver to attend class. Please read Waiver before your event. There will be a copy for you to sign in person at the event. Adults must sign on behalf of minor participants. Photos and/or videos of you and your project may be used for promotional purposes on social media or other platforms. If you wish to be excluded, please notify us at check in.

• Rescheduling or cancelations are only accepted up to 48 hours before the event date. No refunds will be made for part or all of the class value after the cancelation deadline. Please email us at [email protected], and we will be happy to assist you in canceling or rescheduling. There is a $10 rescheduling fee per person. • All minors need to be accompanied by an adult and all attendees must have a paid ticket. Minimum age is 15.

• Doors open 15 minutes prior to class and classes begin promptly at time listed.
