Experimental Cardboard - Garden Print Fest

Garden Print Fest is a printmaking festival offering workshops and ​events in our alternative open air atelier during summer ​and autumn.

Join us and explore the wonderful world of printmaking through 8 original workshops ranging from how to make botanical inks to experimental screenprint, etching, Linocut and more.

The festival takes place every first weekend during the months of July, August and September. Each weekend is filled to the brim with activities, workshops, events and exhibition openings.

On Sunday 7th afternoon we are offering a fun and creative print workshop, Experimentla Cardboard!

This workshop introduces the advantages of ​Collograph printmaking (omitting the glue/colle part:-) ​

We will explore the characteristics of cardboard: its ​variety, how to carve it out to create an image, how to play ​with textures and combine embossing as well as multiple colors. All this can be done with a range of simple tools, ​cutters and scissors and inks!

All materials and tools are included in the participation fee aprt from printmaking paper.This can be purchased directly in the studio.

No need for previous knowledge or experience, all you need is curiosity and a love for process!

Please bring your ideas as well as clothes that can get dirty:-)

This workshop is also open to children age 9 and up accompanied by an adult.
