This session explores a pivotal moment in African American, Filipino American, and Mexican American history that demonstrates the power of workers coming together to challenge unfair systems.
Educators will examine how Filipino and African American workers built alliances in response to efforts to undermine the Pullman Porters’ Union, and how these connections contributed to broader movements for change.
