In this hands-on workshop, you’ll get a practical framework for reading your P&L and balance sheet, knowing which numbers actually matter at your stage, and understanding what your tax return isn’t telling you. You’ll leave with a clear-eyed view of your business’s financial health and a live AI exercise you can take home and use every month.

What you’ll learn

• Reading the P&L and balance sheet: What each statement tells you, and what they tell you together that neither shows alone

• The metrics that matter at your stage: Which numbers to watch monthly, and what they’re actually telling you about the health of your business

• What your tax return isn’t telling you: Why a once-a-year tax preparer leaves a critical gap, and what financial questions your business actually needs answered

• Live AI exercise: Use AI to analyze a set of demo financials (or your own) in real time, and learn how to prompt it so you get specific, useful answers instead of generic summaries
