The Haunted Nights Crew will be kicking off our Haunted Nightmare Tour '27 at another first time location, the Haunted Waugh House. As with any first time locations, we can only go off of claims and experiences that have been shared though the socials. We hope that with the help of our attendees, we can add to that growing list claims and experiences, and make the Waugh House one of the top paranormal hot spots in Virginia!
History
Locally known as the "Haunted Waugh House," the property has gained a reputation in regional ghost lore and paranormal investigations. Investigators and visitors have documented claims of disembodied voices, heavy footsteps, items moving in the attic, and unexplained disturbances.
The Waugh House was built around 1904–1906 by Captain John Blair (J.B.) Waugh as a gift for his wife, Elizabeth “Jennie” Perkins Waugh. Waugh himself was a former Confederate soldier and one of the early founders and local businessmen of Galax, Virginia. Captain John Blair (J.B.) Waugh was instrumental in building up the downtown commercial core at the turn of the 20th century. In addition to his grand Colonial Revival home, he left behind prominent landmarks that shaped the town's history.

6:00pm - General Admission, Meet and Greet with the Haunted Nights Crew and Location Hosts
6:15pm - Intro, Rules and Regs, History of the Property, Paranormal Talk with the Hometown Haunts/HN Crew
7:00pm - Investigation Begins
12:00am - Investigation Ends

We will do 4, 1 hour investigations with a 15 min break in between.
***All Attendees will sign both Event/Location Waivers***
***This event is rain or shine and no refunds will be granted within 7 days of the event***
***Minimum age limit to attend an HNPE event is 12yrs of age unless locations have a set age limit. All attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/adult***
