Joining our Expat Get Together Event at Café Jansen is an opportunity to break the ice, socialize, and immerse yourself in a vibrant community of like-minded individuals. Whether you're new to Amsterdam or have been here for a while, this event is designed to bring people together, foster connections, and create lasting memories.
What is this about
At AIC, we are dedicated to supporting international individuals (Dutch are also welcome) by providing a vibrant and inclusive space for them to gather, connect, and have a fantastic time. Our aim is to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can meet new people, forge meaningful friendships, and enrich your expat experience.

Café Jansen, nestled within Hotel Jansen Bajeskwartier. Hotel Jansen is a flexible landing ground for internationals coming to Amsterdam to work or study. A home hotel hybrid where it is all about community and that home-away-from-home feeling. Their doors are wide open and everyone is welcome to come and go as they please in our brand new all day playground for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and festive drinks.

Based on our own experience, we really recommend (especially if you are new and joining alone) to come around the beginning of the event. It is the easiest way to meet and start a conversation with the other members. ?
To add a touch of magic to the night, between the participants there will be also a talented magician attending the event to socialize, entertain, and amaze our guests. Get ready to be spellbound by their incredible tricks and illusions!
