Expats get together: Drinks and tunes at Groot Melkhuis in Vondelpark

Dear lovely AIC followers

Last Summer we discovered a new venue and we had a couple of events there: The Groot Melkhuis

This beautiful bar is located in the heart of Vondelpark and during winter it is normally open only during the day. This time, the Groot Melkhuis will keep open in the evening only for AIC!

We will have the bar all for our community. Built in 1874 as a farm selling milk that could be consumed on the spot or taken away, the Groot Melkhuis is now one of the most characteristic buildings of the Vondelpark. Surrounded by green gardens and with a waterside terrace, Groot Melkhuis is a beautiful venue where to have a great time.

The dj console will be of course for our great Alish dj, who will entertain the crowd during the event with his live music! ??(Check his Spotify page here!). So let's go party!

HOW DOES IT WORK

Show your booking to the host, get a drink ?, put a smile on your face and introduce yourself to someone. The majority of the attending people come on their own and all with a common purpose: Socialize and meet a lot of interesting people. ? Enjoy!

Based on our own experience, we really recommend (especially if you are new and joining alone) coming around the beginning of the event. It is the easiest way to meet and start a conversation with the other members. ?

AIC events are not only a great idea to meet new people, but also a meeting point for our regular members who join our events to mingle with their international friends.

IMPORTANT! The amount of attending people that you see on this website is not fully representing how busy the event will be. Since AIC events are promoted on several platforms, the attendance is the result of the combination of the bookings coming from each platform.
