About this Event
Over the past 3 years CAN has held Expanding Opportunity Forums to have deeper conversations on critical issues and challenges pertaining to the current economic landscape, building on the foundation established at our November 5, 2022 Central Texas Expanding Opportunity Regional Summit.
This Expanding Opportunity Forum will focus on Apprenticeships. We will highlight a report that was recently released by Young Invincibles "Telling the Right Stories: How Narratives Can Shift Apprenticeship in Texas." While many hold certain beliefs about apprenticeships, they often lack a comprehensive understanding of their true potential and impact, hindering young adults from seriously considering these programs. Narrative change in the apprenticeship landscape is crucial because current language and perceptions surrounding these opportunities often limit the accessibility of their benefits. We will also share about CAN's 2026 series of Expanding Opportunity Forums.
