Expanded Beginning Bowl Turning

In this expanded beginner's class you will use a variable speed lathe on which we will cover in depth all aspects of bowl turning including wood selection and bowl blank preparation, orientation of the blank for best esthetic results, options for securing the workpiece, tool selection, sharpening techniques (the Oneway grinder jig will be used), proper use of gouges and scrapers & finishing techniques.
