Join us on Oct. 3rd to discover the wonders of Madagascar, the world’s fourth largest island, located in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa. Home to five endemic bird families and an extraordinary array of lemurs, chameleons, and plants, Madagascar offers a unique glimpse into nature's marvels. Neil J. Lamb, a retired US Air Force Colonel, PhD Medical Entomologist, and lifelong birder, will share captivating stories and photos from his 22-day odyssey in October 2023, highlighting the island’s rich culture, birdlife, and wildlife.This Choctawhatchee Audubon Society program will be held in Room 800 on the 2nd floor of the Chandler Center (NW door of 519 Helms St.) at the Crosspoint Church in Niceville. Signs will lead you in. Join us for socializing at 6:30 PM, followed by the presentation at 7:00 PM. Admission is free and open to the public. We look forward to welcoming all interested community members to this fascinating program.
