📢It is our great pleasure to announce that we are organizing the Extreme Optics (ExOp) workshop to be held on June 15-17, 2026 in Magurele, Romania. This event is organized by ELI-NP, IFIN-HH in partnership with ELI - The Extreme Light Infrastructure, Ohio State University, Laser Zentrum Hannover, UltraFast Inovation and Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics.
🔝The workshop is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research in optical technologies for high-power laser systems. ExOp will explore key topics such as optics for petawatt-class lasers, recent progress in high-damage-threshold and novel coatings, plasma and fusion optics, contamination challenges, and innovative coating techniques for large-area optics within the ELI facilities.
