Come for an unusual evening of bread and conversation with baker/poet Jim Franks, alongside Chris and Tiff of Laune Bread. Jim will discuss his new book and the challenges and joy’s of sourcing and using local grains and sourdough with the bakers and owners of Laune. Light snacks will be provided, like bread or cookies!

Come at six to settle in, mingle, and eat some treats before we get into our chat! At the end, you can purchase a book and get it signed by Jim Franks, himself.

LAUNE BREAD is part of a community of farmers, millers, advocates & friends working to create a thriving local food movement with good food and healthy soil. Chris and Tiff incorporate ingredients that have an identity, a farmer, and a connection at their bakery in Minneapolis. Sourdough & whole grain forward, their baking highlights the flavours of the grains and other local ingredients, with a variety of breads, pastries, croissants, cookies, sandwiches and more.
