On Thursday, February 12th, at 5pm, join the Special Collections Libraries for an Exhibits Happy Hour, celebrating two new on-view exhibits! The Hargrett Library will be unveiling "Fashioning the Classic Bride: The Life and Career of Anne Barge", which displays more than thirty bridal gowns and accessories from the Anne Barge brand, as well as early sketches, photographs, documents, and more that tell the story of her lasting contributions to the fashion industry. The Richard B. Russell Library will be unveiling "Beyond the '96 Games: Atlanta's Olympic Legacy", which highlights Atlanta's unexpected journey to hosting the 1996 Summer Olympics. Light refreshments will be provided.
This event is free and open to the public.
Free parking can be found in the Hull Street Deck after 5pm.
