Exhibition Symposium for Activating Intersections

Join us for a Symposium for Quilla Constance’s exhibition, Activating Intersections. Chaired by NAE curator David Sinclair, a panel of guest speakers comprising Dr Alexandra Kokoli, Dr Ope Lori, Dr Mo Throp, curator Adelaide Bannerman and Quilla Constance will discuss themes explored throughout the exhibition, with space for a Q&A towards the end.
This event will explore Constance’s interdisciplinary works and consider how diversely hybrid, intersectional, and mixed-heritage black/othered identities navigate and are rendered visible within hegemonic frameworks of power.
