In parallel with Charcoal North’s exhibition, running from September 1st to November 8th, the artist will host a workshop focused on sharing the techniques they use to create atmospheric charcoal landscape drawings.

What to expect?

The artist will start with a tour of their work on show, guiding you through the background of the drawings, the use of source images, and the techniques employed in the work. You’ll then get the chance to apply what you’ve learned to build your own skills and confidence in charcoal using the source images provided.

• Ability: Perfect for beginners eager to explore charcoal drawing, but adaptable for all confidence levels.
• What’s included? Paper, charcoal, and erasers will be provided, along with reference images to draw from.

We are able to provide credit / transfer onto another course or workshop if there is two or more weeks’ notice.

Within a two-week period, under no circumstances can we transfer you onto another event. We have incurred material costs & committed numbers to the tutor.
