Ngulagambilanha ("On Returning") by Jessika Spencer and Kooragang Island by James Rhodes.Join us in Manuka Arts Centre Gardens for the opening on Thursday 4 July, 6 – 8 pm. Both exhibitions will be on display until Saturday 3 August.
Ngulagambilanha ("On Returning") is an intimate art exhibition that documents and shares Aboriginal cultural ways in the Southeast region of Australia. Created by Jessika Spencer, a Wiradjuri woman from the three rivers, Ngulagambilanha is a collection of both photography and fibre art.
Kooragang Island is an immersive exhibition highlighting the beauty and ecological importance of the Kooragang Wetlands as natural water filters. Through abstract photography, hand-coloured prints, and projection techniques, the artist James Rhodes invites viewers to appreciate and respect the delicate balance of this remarkable environment.
