Exhibition Opening: ‘YODyssey’ The art of living well with Young Onset Dementia

Exhibition runs: 30 October - 17 November 2026
Opening event: Fri 30 October, 5.30-7.30pm
Closing event and award presentation: Sunday 15 November, 2.00pm
YODyssey gives artists who have Young Onset Dementia the opportunity to share and celebrate their artwork while they can still recognise and take pride in their creations, and cherish the familiar faces of their family and friends.
The exhibition raises awareness of the growing prevalence of Young Onset Dementia and Dementia and acknowledges the contribution those afflicted by the condition still make to our community.
The feature artists for 2026 are Chris Carmichael and Paul Van Welie. The Robert Anson Perpetual Award will be presented at the closing event.
