Exhibition Finissage - ‘How to Be Lucky’

Kalliopi Ioumpa and Sveske Ourø will create a moment on the last day of the exhibition 'A.Beginning' at Beautiful Distress, bringing all the artists, collaborators and the public together in the space for the last time. Kalliopi Ioumpa will present a new edition of their food based work 'How to Be Lucky' that is a recipe engraved on lasagna sheets exploring the societal paradoxes and narratives around making one's own luck. All the clovers from the long endurance performance, ‘Searching for my luck’ by Sveske Ourø, will be washed, blended and cooked with volunteers into a green pesto served with lasagnas baked for the occasion.
