The public is invited to a free opening reception with artist Jim Meehan on Saturday, January 11th, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Monroeville Public Library Gallery Space. The name of Meehan’s exhibit, “A Different Perspective” comes from the way the images were captured and offers a different perspective on everyday life featuring bold colors, aerial photos, and infrared photography. Many of the selected images in this exhibition were captured in Western Pennsylvania.
Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase original, framed pieces in the exhibit as well as matted and ready-to-frame prints. Meehan’s yearly, Pittsburgh-centric calendar that complements the exhibit with works from the show will also be available for purchase. The 2025 calendar is 11"x14", printed on beautiful heavyweight card stock in matte finish. and is titled "Pittsburgh: A Different Perspective" (priced at $30).
