ArtsinStark is proud to announce the opening of Tales of a Thread: Textiles by Priscilla Roggenkamp on-view May 14 - June 20, 2026, at Cultural Center Gallery.
An opening reception for Tales of a Thread will be held Thursday, May 28 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Enjoy the exhibit and the opportunity to meet the artist.
This collection of work features textile sculptures, collagraph prints, and mixed-media works that explore identity, memory, and the stories embedded in cloth. Drawing on the tactile and symbolic power of textiles, Roggenkamp’s work reflects how clothing and fabric connect to personal history, cultural experience, and a sense of belonging.
From abstracted corset forms to immigration-inspired prints, the exhibition weaves together themes of protection, transformation, and the threads that shape who we are.
The Cultural Center Gallery is located in the lobby of the Main Stage Theater at the Cultural Center for the Arts, 1001 Market Ave. N, Canton, Ohio. The exhibit is available for viewing Thursdays from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
