For 100 years, the Kiwanis Club of Manitou Springs has been an integral part of our close-knit community. Through local fundraising events, the Kiwanis Club has served our children of all ages. The Club sponsors local Boy Scout Troop #18, the Builder’s Club in the Middle School and the Key Club in the High School, building leadership skills and a spirit of community. Never have these skills been more important. Since 1959, the Kiwanis Foundation has awarded over $600,000 in scholarships to local High School students.
Come celebrate the Kiwanis Club’s 100 years of service with a Heritage Center exhibit, opening July 18, 2021. The exhibit is entitled “Kiwanis Club of Manitou Springs, Serving Children of the World for 100 Years”. Starting with the Club’s founding in 1921, the exhibit will feature historical highlights, memorable scholarship recipients, local and international impact and give you a better idea of who’s who in the Kiwanis Club of Manitou Springs. They are your friends and neighbors that you see at the Easter Egg Hunt, the Pikes Peak Marathon Spaghetti Dinner, the St. Patrick’s Dinner Dance and more. Don’t miss it!
