Exeter Life Drawing: Taught class for complete beginners! (May 14th)

What should I expect?
A two-hour life drawing class, in person, drawing from a nude model. The class will be taught by experienced illustrator/artist Clare Elsom, who will guide you through the basics of drawing from the human form. The class is welcoming, relaxed, fun and friendly.
We will experiment with different drawing techniques and mediums, and learn how to address both quick, gestural drawings from short poses, as well as building up technique and confidence drawing the figure from a longer pose. We'll have a 10 minute break in the middle with refreshments included.
This class is a one-off, but designed to give you the confidence to attend our regular untutored sessions, where you can practice your new skills.

Where do I go?
The top floor of the Cygnet Theatre, Friars' Gate, Exeter, EX2 4AZ, (next to the Quayside). There is some limited free on street parking around the venue after 6pm, and a nearby car park at Magdalen Street Car Park.

When?
Thursday 14th May. Please arrive by 6.55pm. Try not to be late. Ring the bell or give me a call if you're stuck outside.

What do I need to bring?
You can bring a sketchbook/paper and drawing equipment if you'd like to, but we will also have materials available to use.
