EXECUTIVE AND BOARD DYNAMICS - THE TRUST FRAMEWORK

One of the key elements of effective strategic association leadership is ensuring the executive and the Board members work in harmony. Core to this is the element of Trust between the Board (the members) and the Executive (CEO and staff). When Trust breaks down then the relationship falters, when Trust is in a positive state the combined member/staff leadership becomes more powerful and effective. This session examines: what happens when Trust breaks down; how it can be strengthened; and, how all the staff team can contribute to the building of effective Trust with the Board.
