Join us at Robun on George Street, Bath, for an immersive evening of Japanese food, culture and live culinary theatre.For one night only, Robun will host a Live Bluefin Tuna Carving & Tasting Experience, bringing guests closer to the precision, craftsmanship and tradition behind Japanese dining.
The evening begins with a vibrant welcome cocktail and sake pairing before the ceremonial Kagami Biraki sake barrel opening, a traditional Japanese celebration of good fortune, harmony and new beginnings. Guests will be among the first to taste freshly opened sake, poured straight from the barrel.
The highlight of the evening is a live bluefin tuna carving experience, as Robun’s chefs expertly break down a whole tuna before your eyes. Guests will then enjoy freshly cut tuna at its finest, including akami sashimi and chutoro nigiri, served immediately after cutting.
After the live experience, take your seat for a specially curated Japanese dinner featuring tuna tartare with crispy seaweed, chef’s selection hosomaki and nigiri, charcoal-grilled tuna, black cod with den miso, and yuzu tiramisu.
