Emo chiptune bedroom pop project exciting!!excellent!! is a one-woman-plus-Gameboy show from Portland, OR. Jasmine combines midwest emo-influenced riffs with catchy, lovingly crafted Gameboy tracks, reminiscent of fellow chiptune bands Crying and (T-T)b.
Drawing on complex, and sometimes tragic life experiences, e!!e!! explores themes of grief, isolation, and starting your life over when that feels impossible. Motivated by a DIY ethic, Jasmine hopes her songs inspire others to make art and try to live, even when life is hopeless.
