Join EWI of Albuquerque for our AUGUST EVENT!
Speaker Amanda Aragon is the Executive Director of NewMexicoKidsCAN, a nonprofit she founded in 2017 to advocate for student-centered, community-informed education policies in New Mexico. A first-generation college graduate, Amanda earned her degree in International Business and Spanish from the University of Tulsa and began her career with ConocoPhillips before serving as Director of Strategic Outreach at the New Mexico Public Education Department. A proud Albuquerque native and Rio Rancho High School alumna, Amanda is a Leadership New Mexico Connect alum and has been honored with awards such as "40 Under 40" and the Jennifer Riordan Woman of Influence Community Impact Award.
She actively serves on several education, economic development, and philanthropic boards, continuing her mission to create a brighter future for New Mexico through education.
