EVOLVE - empowering emerging artists
Thursday November 14 marks a new era for Rated. We are opening the doors for grassroots arts and culture of all disciplines to benefit from the space we have built to gather community.
The debut of Evolve is a fundraiser for a collaborative art piece created by Caterina Marasco - it's a stunning wood carving of the Rated logo designed to have its mark left by every patron who comes out to support it and the club. Sharpies, trinkets, and a tickle trunk of fun will be available for patrons to leave their mark on this debut art piece.
Funds raised at the door will pay Caterina and the DJs, including to recoup the cost of making the art piece itself.
$10 at the door. Food donations will also be accepted at the door to gain entry.
Moving forward, Evolve will be a space on Thursdays for emerging artists of all disciplines to collaborate with us and find ways to make money, support their art, and collaborate on promotional efforts and raise everyone's profile. A rising tide lifts all ships, and we intend to support any artist who wants to bring their energy and artistic life to the club.
