Award winning one woman show Evolution of a Black Girl: From the Slave House to the White House celebrates its 10 year run Sunday, March 26 at the Historic Hippodrome Theater. The show chronicles a history of the African American woman from 1619-present day through a riveting 12 character portrayal. The show will be accompanied by live band, FORTRESSES, under the musical direction of Zachary Hines II. Doors open at 3:00pm and show begins at 4:30pm. Food is available for purchase prior to the start of the show from 3:00-4:00pm
