Bio:
Led by comedic creator / musician / surreal performance artist Kym “Hawk” Priess. No stranger to the stage, rock n roller Kym Priess combines her instinctual alter-ego clown skills and her love of the barreling beat in most of her work. Based in LA, Kym is a comedic performance artist, actor, rock musician and leader of STUNTDRIVER, the adventure rock spectacle. Seen on Amazon, HBO and many stages in LA, she’s toured with Peaches, sang on William Shatner's album, her rock opera was awarded "Best of Fringe" SF, and recently, played the "crazy girlfriend" of country star, Tony Martinez, in his video "Crazy." Her most recent comedic project, Loser Lion Party Bus, performed at Edinburgh Fringe and London this past summer Kym. She continues to develop it. Kym was on faculty as an acting coach at Zak Barnett Studios for 10 years. Kym loves to explore the imagination, social commentary in a fun way, whimsical ways of bringing people together and expanding comfort zones. She has been described as “critical to the existence of the dragon in you” (ComeHereFloyd) and earned comparisons to Siouxsie Sioux and Joan Jett (LA Buzz Band’s Kevin Bronson), was born in Austin, drives cars in movies but prefers floating down a river above all else.
