Evil Felipe is an all-female group from Central MA, taking on a unique combination of indie, alternative, surf punk, and punk rock sounds. Praised by Boston Groupie News (BGN) for its emotional depth, personal pain, and consistent mood, showcasing a mature, sweeping sound that avoids extremes but captivates listeners.
Don't Tell Iris is a Boston-based indie band blending alt-rock with pop, known for storytelling lyrics from an early 20th-century female narrator in an asylum; reviews highlight their unique concept, strong songwriting by Olive Martinez & Cody Von Lehmden, and a tight live sound with bass & drums, suggesting a compelling, imaginative, and musically rich experience.
Fugue is described as sharp, energetic, with synchronized complexity and creative flair. They are recognized for complex progressions, technical drumming and a blend of fast-paced and melodic sections.(update) Rounding out the lineup is Fugue, hailing from Western Massachusetts.

Despite the misleading name, Evil Felipe is an all-
female group from central MA, taking on a unique
combination of indie, alternative, surf punk, and
punk rock sounds. Formed back in 2016, the band
began with sisters Ella and Maya Staltare along
with Emma Bain. They brought in Abby
Rickert in 2021 and the four remain the core of the
group to this day.
'June Gloom', was recorded out of their basement with their dad's help, in October of 2019. This collection of upbeat songs with deep hints of anger in the lyrics were most especially welcomed during their local live shows, where the band would fire through song after song in a fast-paced, aggressive, but surprisingly steady and polished pace.
In the midst of the collapse of the live scene due to pandemics and shutdowns, Evil Felipe recorded an EP in August of 2020 with happy melodies layered over lyrics of troubled love. The EP was released in early 2021 and named “Spacing Out.”
The band's evolution continued on into their newest release "Into The Ivy" in February of 2023. The album brought back the at-home recording feeling as it was produced and mixed under the same roof as the band's first LP. This new DIY approach to their music helped the band fully reclaim their sound, as they recorded and produced the album themselves, start to finish. Along with their latest locked-in sound, the band has a new presence in the industry that they plan to only grow off of. Since the release of their album the band has had the opportunity to play at the Worcester MA venue The Palladium Upstairs, and hopes to continue to grow as they approach their 8th year as a band.
