Join us for one of the most anticipated evenings of PURE JOY on The Patio!
Evie Andrus, former ETSU Bluegrass student and now University of Tennessee Bluegrass Professor, will bring her incredible talent, along with some equally talented friends, to the Patio Concert Series:
July 10th.
Gather at 7:00 PM,
Music starts at 7:30 PM
You may have had the privilege of seeing Evie in one of her bands that played across the southeast, backing up renowned cellist Dave Eggar and irreverent singer-songwriter Roger Alan Wade, or performing at the Big Ears Festival with improvisational great Lonnie Holley, or maybe you spotted her backing up Foreigner on a short tour. There’s also the possibility that you heard her music on the HBO series “The Outsider” or saw her appearance on “American Ninja Warrior.” Maybe you caught her playing on the square in Knoxville with Yo-Yo Ma or on SEC game day. But one thing is sure: You don't want to miss the unique opportunity to experience the pure JOY of Evie on the patio!
The patio is not a venue; it's just a private backyard that loves having friends come and enjoy music. There won't be a cover charge to enter, but of course, you are encouraged to show appreciation to our musical guests by contributing to the love bucket.
Please note that the provided snacks will be minimal, so you are encouraged to bring your own dinner or snack to enjoy, as well as beverages. We want you to feel at home and comfortable, just as if you're in your backyard.
This event will be outdoors. If bad weather appears, we will reschedule the event. Please bring a chair for standby seating.
