Evidence Based Practices

This course will familiarize participants with SAMHSA’s Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) addiction resources and afford the participant opportunities to examine several addiction EBPs and assess the clinical application of these EBPs. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES 

• Understand the definition of evidence-based practices 

• Explore the differences between evidence-based practices and emerging practices 

• Gain knowledge in the area of pharmacotherapy and Medic*tion assisted treatment 

• Explore current evidence-based practices utilized in substance use disorder treatment programs 

CEU Information: 

This course provides 6 CEU’s. CEU’s are Category 1 CEU provided by Indiana State statute 839IAC 1-6-2(F)(86) 

Additional Information: 

This course meets education hours required for all ICAADA CADAC credentials. More information on ICAADA CADAC and ACIT credential requirements can be found here:  https://icaada.org/credentials-2/ . This course will meet continuing education hours for recovery coach credentials.
