Join every.Word Poetry for an electrifying Open Mic as part of Reggie Rap’s Room Community Care Celebration, a powerful event series dedicated to mental health and creative expression. This open mic is a space for poets, storytellers, and spoken word artists to share their truth, build community, and use the power of words to inspire healing and change.

Whether you're a seasoned poet or stepping up to the mic for the first time, we welcome you to bring your voice, your story, and your energy. Let’s create a space where art and advocacy collide, amplifying the conversation around mental wellness through poetry.

In-person Sign-ups open at 3:30 PM. Limited spots available!

Live music vibes, community connection, and creative empowerment

This event is free and open to the public as part of the larger Reggie Rap’s Community Care Celebration, which features interactive workshops, live performances, a mental health panel, and more. Let’s use art to foster resilience and support emotional well-being together.

How to Participate:

Depending on planned programming, we will accept 15-20 poet & musician sign-ups.

• 10 Poet Sign-Up tickets are available online.
• 3 Musician Sign-Up tickets are avaiable online.
• The remainder of the sign-ups will be available day of at the stage.
• Poets & Musicians must check-in at the stage by 3:30pm to gurantee your spot on the list.
• By participating on stage, you consent to every.Word Poetry, Reggie Rap The Butterfly Bar, and The VORTEX to share and use audio, video, and/or pictures of your performance on every.Word Poetry's, The Butterfly Bar's, The VORTEX's social media, website, inside the bar, and for grant-writing purposes. You also understand you are prohibited from sharing highly offensive and/or discrimantory works on stage.
