every.Word Poetry Presents: Monday Open Mic – A Benefit for Juanita

Location: The VORTEX's Outdoor Stage or inside The Butterfly Bar (2307 Manor Rd.)
Parking: Free and open to The VORTEX public. Early arrival encouraged.

Join us for a heartfelt evening of spoken word, poetry, and storytelling at our weekly Open Mic Night—this time with a purpose. We're dedicating this night to raise funds and love for Juanita, a beloved community member courageously fighting breast cancer.

This Monday, your poems, your songs, and your presence can make a difference. All proceeds and donations will go directly to support Juanita’s healing journey. Contribute and learn more here:

Whether you're a seasoned poet, an aspiring writer, or a passionate listener, come be part of a community that shows up for each other. Share your original work or simply soak in the vibes. Grab a drink from The Butterfly Bar and a bite from Patrizi’s, all on The VORTEX compound.

Note: The Open Mic is primarily held outdoors. In unpleasant weather, we’ll gather inside The Butterfly Bar or Eloise Theatre. Unsafe road conditions will result in cancellation.

• Depending on the night's programming, we accept 15–20 sign-ups.
• 7 Poet Sign-Up tickets and 3 Musician Sign-Up tickets are available online.
• Remaining spots are available day-of at the stage—priority to poets.
• All performers must check in by 7:30PM to confirm their spot.

By participating, you consent to every.Word Poetry, The Butterfly Bar, and The VORTEX using audio, video, or images of your performance for promotional and grant purposes. Offensive or discriminatory work is not permitted.
