Romanian artist Alex Voinea paints at the fault line between discipline and chaos. Rooted in early experiments with liquid paint on vibrating surfaces, his abstract and breathtaking paintings capture moments of pure kinetic energy and emotion. Against ethereal, fading background, Voinea unleashes gestures that feel both meticulously precise and effortlessly fluid. His brushstrokes, drippings, and splashes merge together into a living breathing ecosystem of color, capturing an experience of movement frozen in time. Each canvas becomes a moment of energy stilled, an excavation of movement before it disappears back into the air. Voinea’s worlds feel alive: lush ecosystems of rhythm and light where freedom is not merely suggested but enacted.
His work is an invitation to witness spontaneity in slow motion. It is visceral, luminous, and emotionally charged, transforming the canvas into a site where curiosity and risk become acts of creation. Celebrated across Europe and the United States, Voinea continues to push abstraction into new realms of rhythm, vitality, and sensory depth.
Brooklyn based artist Kevin Kelly is known for his renowned sculptures that approach abstraction through a lens of order and balance. Grounded in a lifelong fascination with geometry, his works reflect systems found within the natural order, capturing both symmetry and balance. At the same time his pieces often invoke elements of the human figure, utilizing distilled bodily forms that, though stripped of literal representation, retain emotional resonance. By merging mathematically derived structures with intuitive sculptural language, Kelly creates works that invite contemplation and connection.
Kelly constructs harmony in three dimensions. Guided by a lifelong devotion to contours, he shapes forms that echo the quiet intelligence of nature
In this exhibition, Kelly demonstrates his signature style through both the use of paintings and sculptures. Invoking imagery of the natural world while utilizing sleek geometry and atmospheric colors. Together these artists present a conversation between dynamism and stability, fluidity and stillness, chromatic intensity and spatial clarity. Their works highlight how form, whether painted or sculpted, can hold tension, movement, memory, and meaning.
