Join us at Sibling on Sunday, January 19, 2025 for New Arrival Supper Club, a community Intention-Setting Authentic Syrian Dinner in collaboration with Miry’s List, featuring the culinary talents of Chef Maysaa Kanjo, new American from Syria. This special evening will combine the warmth of community with the rich flavors of homemade Syrian cuisine, offering a unique opportunity to reflect, connect, and set positive intentions for the year ahead.

We will have the opportunity to also get to know Marzia Reshtin, who moved to Los Angeles with her family in 2021 from Afghanistan. Through a discussion moderated by Parisa Parnian, Iranian-American multi-disciplinary visual artist and culinary creative and founder of Savage Muse, we will learn about the experience of resettlement through Marzia's eyes, focusing on practical, direct ways we can come together as a community to support our resettling neighbors.

Parisa Parnian is an Iranian-American multi-disciplinary visual artist and culinary creative. She uses food, design and performative storytelling to build bridges and connect communities. Parisa’s signature style is to play with and subvert the colorful layers of ancestral traditions of the MENA/SWANA cultures thru her creative design and interactive culinary projects. Aziz Amor, Parisa's monthly event in DTLA, brings together Persian/SWANA & Latinx music, dance & community.
