Every(body) Wants to Be a Showgirl Exhibit Grand Opening at Ecdysiast Arts Museum

We are beyond excited to announce that Aquarius Moon’s Every(body) Wants to Be a Showgirl is coming to the Ecdysiast Arts Museum on Friday, September 25th, 2026!
Every(body) Wants to Be a Showgirl is a traveling exhibition celebrating the artistry, cultural impact, and living legacy of Black burlesque performers. Featuring over 100 Black performers from around the world, the exhibition centers living artists while honoring the lineage of Black performance traditions — and is now on the road!
This exhibition will be headed to the Quad Cities this September for a permanent installation housed at downtown Davenport’s Ecdysiast Arts Museum.
