EveryBody Dances @ Yale Schwarzman Center brings local and visiting dance artists to our Dance Studio to teach masterclasses in jazz, hip hop, salsa, modern, contemporary, precision dance and more! All community members are welcome. This week's class will be The Pilobolus Masterclass. Unlock your creativity and experience the collaborative magic of Pilobolus in this physically engaging, improvisation-based masterclass. Led by Pilobolus teaching artists, this session invites participants to dive into the company’s unique creative process—where movement invention, weight-sharing, and collective problem-solving are the focus.
Through an improvisational warm-up, partner work, and guided ensemble creation, participants will explore their own artistic voice while learning to work as a group to build original choreography. The class is designed for any level of experience and dance background.
The Dance Studio is located on the lower level of Yale Schwarzman Center, 168 Grove Street, New Haven, CT 06511.
